High School Student Council attended the TRACTION Conference in Cape Girardeau this weekend. They completed team building activities while learning about the importance of seatbelt safety, avoiding the use of alcohol and drugs, and the dangers of distracted driving.

Thank you to all the area businesses and churches that donated. All student school supplies have been purchased, and will be ready for the students when they return to school. We will recognize participating businesses in the near future. Thanks again for all you do for Lesterville School and our students.

There are some girls basketball uniforms from 2014-2022 that are up for grabs. We would like to give former players first chance to get the uniform they wore. If we still have some after June, we will give them away.
Former players from that time period: contact Coach Melissa St. Gemme for your uniform or call the school.

Congratulations to all of the students who received High Honors all four quarters. Great job!!

The district baseball game scheduled for today has been rescheduled. The game will now be played tomorrow at 12pm at Oak Ridge.

Biology and 8th grade science got their hands dirty with dissections to wrap up the year! Beef hearts, kidneys, sheep brains, sheep eyes, mussels, perch, crayfish, grasshoppers, earthworms, and sand dollars were on the menu for this year's smorgasbord!

Lost and Found is out of control. Does any of this look familiar? After the students leave tomorrow anything left will be disposed of. Thanks!

The baseball games scheduled for today at Bismarck and tomorrow at home vs Scott City have been cancelled.
The next game will be the first round of districts on Thursday, May 9th at 4pm vs Delta. Districts will be at Oak Ridge.

Sadly, the weather isn't going to cooperate for planting this year, so the science dept has tons of plants for trade. We are ISO potting soil, prepackaged seeds, and/or cash donations for supplies for next year. Mixed tomatoes, arugula, lettuce mix, sweet bell peppers & marigolds

Wednesday, May 8th is the last day of school.
Elementary pickups at 11:15am at the elementary doors.
Buses will leave at 11:30am.

It has been a busy day at LES! We've accomplished Play Day, End of Year Awards Ceremony, and Kindergarten Graduation all in one day. Our hearts are full, we're proud of all our students, and we are ready for summer.
