3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade had a blast at MAP Carnival today!! They braved the water slides, played games, had ice cream, and snacks. It was a well deserved afternoon of fun for how hard these students worked during MAP testing! Special shout out to Rylee's Sweet Treats for coming to school to serve all kinds of goodies.

Congratulations to the Students of the Month for April!! We are so proud of you!

I got to take some very special preschoolers on a trip to Dollar General for a toy and some candy today. Lulu, Kaylie, Paislee, Atticus, Heidi, and Lucille all got their name on the ABC Wall of Fame and this was their reward for their hard work. They were so sweet, respectful, and patient while we were shopping. What a great group of kids!

The local VFW came to teach our 1st through 3rd graders about respecting the American Flag for Patriotic Day.

Drumming along in Kindergarten

Preschool had a great time celebrating reaching their goals for the year with an ice cream sundae party!

Learning about rhythms is more fun Stars Wars style and with Boomwhackers!

Today 1st grade had circle play on the xylophones.

2nd grade learning to play the xylophone

Congratulations to the 2023 Prom Queen and King - Piper Fitzgerald and Conner Nichols.

STEM classmates, Jarett Meredith, Kaiden Mathes, and Cason Chilton dressed up to shoot their commercial for their Shark Tank proposal!
Taking notes from the late Billy Mays, the commercial will inspire millions to go out and buy the eco-friendly, biodegradable "Bone Bullets."

Trivia Night was a blast! Lots of fun and laughter! Four teams competed to win the title, Know It All!

Jr. Beta has an abundance of beef sticks left that are for sale! The flavors in the photos are all available and are $1 a stick. Contact Ashlyn Hubbs if you would like to purchase any!

Great Job, Atticus and Kaylie for getting your picture on every Preschool Goals Poster! Way to go!!

Mrs. Chilton's 7th graders put Newton's laws to the test today with egg races. They created a safety apparatus for their delicate passengers and raced down Mrs. Womble's racetrack, crashing into the Splat Zone! 🐓🏎️🏁

This week we are celebrating our teachers for all their hard work, dedication, and compassion for kids. The elementary building thinks our teachers are true super heroes and we are so thankful to have such amazing educators!! I encourage all parents, students, and community members to reach out to these awesome humans this week and let them know how valued they truly are!
