PUBLIC NOTICE: We continue to have parents / grandparents drop off and pick up students in the upper parking lot. This morning, we nearly had a student hit by a truck in the crosswalk. No vehicles outside of school staff and buses are to enter the upper lot during pick up and drop off times. This is plainly stated in the handbook and notes have been sent home. Violators of this policy will be reported to the sheriff's office. The safety of our students is our top priority. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Students in Mrs. Hubbs’s classes competed in round one of their egg drop competition today. Of the 23 participants, 11 eggs survived the fall and move onto round 2!

Attention 2022 seniors who are enrolled in dual credit:
Remember to send your dual credit transcripts to the college you will be attending in the Fall. Also, when you are done with your dual credit textbooks, please return them to Mrs. Wakefield if you have not already done so. Mrs. Wakefield will be at school to accept these through May 17th.
If you need any assistance sending the dual credit transcripts via the MSU-West Plains website, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Wakefield.

Mrs. Chilton’s 7th graders put Newton’s 3 Laws to the test with stomp rockets this afternoon!
8th grade worked with balloon and water rockets this afternoon.
The LHSCSI team is putting their skills to work reconstructing crime scenes.
We have set aside an evening on May 3, 2022 to honor our high school athletes. They have put forth many hard hours of work and deserve recognition. We also want to let you know we appreciate your support of our athletic program.
The ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. We encourage all athletes and parents to attend. Athletes must be in attendance to receive their awards.
The Lesterville Administrators and Coaches feel the ceremony is a special occasion and should be treated as such. Students are to dress appropriately for the occasion (for example: no shorts, no hats, no jeans with holes and scratches,and dress length, as stated in the school dress code).
